Refund policy

Diamonds in Dubai has a FINAL SALE policy on all items except for shoes and jewelry. FINAL SALE occurs when payment is made and processed by our credit card company or when a bank wire is received.  

The majority of our curated items are in pristine condition, some still in their original packaging from the brands’ boutiques. Our merchandise is carefully preserved in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment and in their original packaging. Items are only taken out of their original packaging for authentication and photography purposes. Throughout this process, all items are handled with white gloves to avoid any potential damage. 

Once an item is no longer in our facility, we cannot guarantee how the item was handled. The smallest change in the item’s condition, such as loss of plastic on the frontal hardware, or scratches on the leather, substantially reduces the value of the item. 

Our ethos is to ensure customers are receiving their items as described and photographed on our website and social media platforms. Thus, by enforcing a “final sale” policy, we make certain that our items remain in their condition as described. 


Returns For Shoes And Jewelry:

We accept returns for store credit, providing that the item is in the same condition as when it was sold. 

Store credits will be valid for 180 days from the date of purchase.

Please email admin@diamondsindxb.ae within 48 hours of receipt of the item you wish to return. We will issue you an insured return label. On receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will advise of the store credit. The credit will be less than our original shipping cost and the return shipping cost.  

Should you elect to return using your own label, we must receive the item back within four days (seven days for overseas buyers) of notifying us that you would like to return the item.  

We are not responsible for any return shipping to an incorrect address or lost or damaged in transit. Therefore, we advise that packages containing returns be insured.

We video all items prior to shipping and we reserve the right to reject a return if the items appear to have been used.  

Returns from outside the United Arab Emirates are subject to customs charges and/or foreign exchange charges and these charges will be deducted from the refund.

Personal Shopping Services:

Diamonds in Dubai does not take returns on items sourced on behalf of a client (or its agent) that were not in our inventory at the time the request was made.  Such orders are considered "custom orders" and custom orders, whether new or preloved, are not eligible for return.


Refunds For Security Deposits:

Diamonds in Dubai offers the ability to place a 10% deposit on select items you wish to hold for 2 weeks. To place an item on hold, contact us at admin@diamondsindxb.ae with the item you wish to hold and how you would like to proceed with the payment (bank transfer, credit card payment, or cash *applicable to UAE customers only*). As a service to our consignors, they choose whether or not they want their items to be held for 2 weeks.  

Please note that we may change the deposit terms on specific items or for special offers. We reserve the right to deny deposits to anyone or everyone.

If a deposit is canceled, we will issue all funds paid towards it as store credit - minus 10% of the total cost of the item. The 10% cancellation fee is non-refundable and will not become store credit. 

After a deposit has begun, occasionally things happen and we are asked to extend the deposit. If we agree to the change on this ongoing deposit, there will be an additional 10% extended deposit charge based on the total price of the item, minus shipping and taxes. This charge will be added to the total price of the item and will be non-refundable.
