We define the quality of the bag from 1-5:

  2. Mint: hard to believe somebody owned it before. Showing minimum signs of wear.
  3. Very Good: more than one imperfection.
  4. Good: remains in good condition, but has moderate imperfections that are visible.
  5. Fair: has visible imperfections such as scratches, discoloration and/or tearing. The product is still in fair condition and usually sold at a discounted price compared to similar items in better condition.

The Capucines handbag made its first debut on the Louis Vuitton runway in the Fall/Winter 2013 collection and, since then, has become a staple item for the brand. The Capucine bag was named after the street, Rue Des Capucines, in Paris where Louis Vuitton started their first store in 1854.

The Capucines handbag is, in a way, "two bags" as it can be carried and worn in two ways. You can either hide the front flap inside the bag, so the LV initials are shown. Or, you can use the "hidden" flap to cover the LV initials, revealing the monogram flower.

This Capucines Mini bag is crafted from precious python leather. Lined with luxurious goatskin and fitted with gleaming metal hardware, it features the distinctive Capucines flap, which can be tucked in to display the LV signature or worn outside to reveal a Monogram Flower. Its petite dimensions make this exceptional piece a splendid choice for the evening.
