This Birkin 25 Picnic in Gold Swift leather and striped Osier wicker is one of Hermès’ most distinctive and limited seasonal creations. Combining traditional leather craftsmanship with handwoven wicker, the Picnic Birkin reflects the house’s heritage in artisanal materials and techniques, making it fundamentally different from standard leather Birkins.

The upper portion is crafted in Gold Swift leather, known for its smooth finish and warm caramel tone, while the body features handwoven Osier wicker in a striped pattern. Each wicker panel is individually constructed, requiring specialized craftsmanship that significantly limits production. The contrast between structured leather and natural wicker creates a unique balance between refinement and seasonal wear.

Finished with palladium hardware, the cooler tone complements the warmth of the Gold leather while maintaining a clean, structured look.

Picnic Birkins are produced in very limited quantities and are released only in select seasons, with the 25cm size being particularly difficult to source. Due to the complexity of materials and craftsmanship involved, these pieces are highly sought after by collectors and rarely appear on the secondary market.
