We define the quality of the bag from 1-5:

  1. Pristine: new or never worn.
  2. Mint: hard to believe somebody owned it before. Showing minimum signs of wear.
  3. Very Good: more than one imperfection.
  4. Good: remains in good condition, but has moderate imperfections that are visible.
  5. Fair: has visible imperfections such as scratches, discoloration and/or tearing. The product is still in fair condition and usually sold at a discounted price compared to similar items in better condition.

Barenia leather is an original and rare, high-quality calf leather that has been used by Hermès’ equestrian division to make saddles. Later the leather was used in the production of Birkin’s, Kelly’s, and other Hermès bags. 

In 2017 Hermès released a new version of the Barenia leather called Barenia Faubourg. It featured a mildly-grained surface compared to the smooth surface of the original Barenia leather. The new Barenia Faubourg looks a bit more like Togo or Clemence, which makes it more scratch-resistant compared to the traditional Barenia leather.

What makes this Birkin 30 even more special is that it is in Fauve color which is similar to the most popular gold by Hermès. It is complimented with Gold hardware and an Hermès Black Stamp. It includes tonal stitching, front flap, two straps with center toggle closure, clochette with lock and two keys, and double rolled handles.

The interior is lined with Fauve color leather and has one zip pocket with a Hermes engraved zipper pull and an open pocket on the opposite side.
