Kelly Doll in Rouge de Coeur and Rose d’Été Swift Leather with Palladium Hardware

A rare example of the newest generation of the Hermès Kelly Doll, also known as the Quelle Idole, crafted in Rouge de Coeur and Rose d’Été Swift leather and finished with Palladium Hardware. Originally introduced in 2000 as Jean-Louis Dumas’ playful reinterpretation of the Kelly, the Kelly Doll transforms the house icon into an anthropomorphic character through its expressive face, movable arms and signature feet. Hermès continues to revisit the design in new limited colour combinations, making the latest releases particularly collectible.

The colour pairing is especially distinctive. Rouge de Coeur, translating to “Red of the Heart,” is one of Hermès’ vivid, saturated reds, while Rose d’Été, meaning “Summer Rose,” is a softer pink with warm coral and salmon undertones. Together, the two shades create a tonal red-and-pink composition that feels playful while still highlighting the sculptural details of the Kelly Doll.

Crafted in supple Swift leather, the colours appear particularly rich and luminous, while the cool Palladium Hardware adds contrast to the warmer palette. As one of the newest Kelly Doll colourways, this configuration is produced in highly limited quantities and remains exceptionally difficult to source.
