  2. Mint: hard to believe somebody owned it before. Showing minimum signs of wear.
  3. Very Good: more than one imperfection.
  4. Good: remains in good condition, but has moderate imperfections that are visible.
  5. Fair: has visible imperfections such as scratches, discoloration and/or tearing. The product is still in fair condition and usually sold at a discounted price compared to similar items in better condition.

Luck, a recurring theme found within the famous French Luxury house Van Cleef & Arpels inspired some of its most iconic creations.

The four-leaf clover motifs were initially found in the 1920s Maison’s archive. In 1968, Van Cleef created the first Alhambra necklace, which consisted of 20 four leaf-clover motifs in yellow gold and trimmed gold beads. This iconic design has become a fan favorite for avid jewelry collectors.

One of the most popular stones in the Alhambra collection, onyx is great for everyday wear! It is also one of the strongest natural stones that Van Cleef and Arpels use.

Care Instructions

When cleaning onyx, you can wipe dust, grime, or fingerprints away with a microfiber cloth or soft towel. To ensure the longevity of your onyx pieces, store them in a soft cloth or a fabric jewelry box. I personally do not own this stone, so I am unable to rate my experience.

We also advise avoiding the following:

-Do NOT shower with your onyx on
-Do NOT expose it to cleaning moisturizers, perfumes, or makeup
-Do NOT swim with onyx on
